Thanks in advance on any useful input!! Ok I had an Htc touch pro with verizon which is on Windows Mobile. I have my contacts stored on Microsoft my phone, and my htc touch pro will not operate anymore.

I went and bought me a Moto droid and love it... I dont know how to transfer my contacts to my droid. I was reading something about you have to be rooted or something?? If you have any info for me to transfer my contacts it would be greatly appreciated.:D

If the tp is inoperable, then you can't retrieve contacts....

Never used microsoft my phone, but a quick google gave me this:

My Phone

it has a link to enter a website with contacts and whatnot. Give that a try.

You need to have signed up for that service prior to his phone crash =(

So you use one part of the service (on the phone), but what identified the phone to that service is a totally different thing than what you need to identify yourself to the webpart of the service?

That's not a very clever design. I think I take the android-google-id way.
