Help HELP, Nexus 5 charging

So recently i bought a nexus 5 wireless charger from Google Play Store, and i notice that if i use that wireless charging cable on my nexus5, it charges SUPER FAST like really fast...

but i still have my stock Nexus 5 cable and it can't charge and be played on. if its at 90% it stays at 90% but the new cable i is at 90% and goes up like 1% slowly.

is it the cable thats affecting it? and for a solution what new cable can i get

Cables can wear out, so it's possible that this has happened to your old one. Hard to say more than "possible", but if it charges more effectively with one cable than the other, and with everything else the same, then it's likely that the cable is the problem.

Charging isn't usually linear with respect to time, so the last bit going slower doesn't wholly surprise me, though I've no direct experience of a Nexus 5 to compare with.

It shouldn't require anything special for a cable. It's more likely that the old cable is fraying internally than that the new one is somehow special and better.
