I currently have the HTC Desire, my provider has agreed to swap this handset because it will not...

Send picture messages without a 3G signal (I live in rural UK and often have no 3G)
Display Arabic characters even on a web page (the handset needs to be rooted to do that)
Show a delivered time on text message delivery reports


I am considering swapping for the SE Experia X10 (I previously had the K850i and the C905, both of which I was happy with)

Can anyone confirm that the X10 will do the things I need it to?
 
well my X10 sends picture messages fine when not on 3g

as for the arabic characters thats something i've never looked at so unknown

delivery reports - as far as i am aware, will not display time on any android handset
