Help on pick Iphone5 or Galaxy S3

I'm due for an upgrade at at&t. Need help decideing on Iphone5 of galaxy s3. i am a manager for a soccer team and send out group text messages on a daily basis. I have a app for that on my iphone 3g. I like this app because when i send this text and people reply it only comes back to me. My wife has a android ( motorolo atrix 3) and she sends out group text message form her phone with no app and somebody replies,it goes out to everybody in that group. i dont like that. Can anybody help me solve this dilemma.

You're asking on an Android forum whether to get an SIII or an iCrap5................

Mmmmmmmmm as a self confessed crApple hater and an owner of a SIII, I'd have to say.......Get a SIII.

But I could be biased:D:D:D

Get a SIII or the Note 2 in a few months if you want a massive screen,
and put GoSMS on it as you texting app, It'll do the group text thing that you want.

Note 2 ftw

Android is way more customizable. If you look hard enough you'll be able to find an app to fill pretty much any of your needs. However, if your Iphone is doing everything you want it to (are you interested in anything other than texting? Do you really need to upgrade? You could probably get a 4s for free) than why change from something thats working for. If it ain't broke don't fix.

However, this is an android forum so recommending an Iphone probably makes as much sense to everyone here as recommending a Windows phone!

chanchan05 when you send you a group text and somebody replies are you the only person that see the reply? Do you have a app for that or is only from the phone?

Angus19 I was looking for an upgrade for a change. Faster phone and new things. The texting is what i use alot for soccer, I did not want to pick and choose 80 different people and sent text to everyday.

Hey readbread16
I have been using an android mobile (HTC Desire V) and have GoSMS Pro app installed for sending messages in groups through my smart phone.
I will not say that iPhone5 is not a good mobile, in fact it is a nice smart phone. Since you are having some upgrade due from AT&T and willing to have a new device, the decision is your to pick the latest Apple phone and continue with your upgrade or move to Android platform that provides you a lot of freedom.

True to form the image should be manipulated so that they appear to be identical in dimensions, even though they are not. What's good enough for Apples lawyers...

On topic though. Can you live with Apple maps and their very closed ecosystem?
Can you deal with that small of a screen? Do you want to?
To me the bad points simply out weight the good. I'm not at all one of those brand followers. What ever works best.
