Help Help on QPST

Looking for help on getting QPST and Valiant to work together...

Here is what i got so far-
drivers from phone installed, phone put into diag via:
*#*#2846579#*#*
projectmenu -> Background Settings -> USB Port -> Manufacture mode
and tried Normal Mode also

QPST 2.7 Build 323 on one computer
QPST 2.7 Build 366 on another computer

Android Phone
Android Composite ADB Interface (Computer #1)
T-Mobile 3G Phone ADB Interface (Computer #2)

Modems
T-Mobile 3G Phone Modem (Both Computers)

Ports (COM & LPT)
DBAdapter Reserved Interface(COM5) (Both Computers)
T-Mobile 3G Phone PCUI(COM4) (Both Computers)

QPST gives me No Phone on any of the ports i load, I unchecked Show Serial and USB/QC Diagnostic ports only

anyone help out on this?

QPST is a new word for me...

Are you trying to move the phone to a different provider?

It looks really similar to adb stuff.

What are you trying to do? I'm not 'elite' but I've been around for years.

Shot in the dark, but what PC and OS are you using?

1 computer is a laptop, windows 7 sp1
1 computer is a desktop, windows 7 sp1

trying to adjust the 3G with the simple IP tweak and dns tweaks
but of course need to get the phone recognized by QPST first, and thats the difficulties of it

after doing more extensive searching in other forums, i believe i may of found what might help get this to work with QPST..
qualcomm background open setting needs to be open...
asks for password...
I have tried 0 and 0000 and 000000 and also the SPC for the phone
so maybe someone on here knows the password or how to get it?

only thing i can come up with to get valiant to work with qpst is to put the imei to 0
so until someone makes a way to do that, with of course proper instructions on how to backup and restore the current imei, i think this is just not going to be happening any time soon.
