HELP! Pixel Slate I5 or Pixelbook I7

So my intention was to get a tablet and replace my iPad I sold. But now I see the highest end Pixelbook is on sale on Amazon for $1,100. So my question is should I buy the $999 pixel Slate I5 or the highest end Pixelbook I7?
