help playing vids with es file explorer

I'm trying to view vr videos stored on my desktop, but view them on my s5. I connected to the desktop via es file explorer, but when I attempt to open the file my only option is the es media player. here is what i see for options:https://snag.gy/INyiJD.jpg
How do I enable es file viewer to open files with vr movie apps? I reset default players on my phone settings but i still do not have the option to use other players. if it helps the vr app i use is aaa vr cinema

I do not know how you have chosen to access the desktop from your phone.

ES has a known exposure ... it does not safeguard usernames and passwords used in the cloud. If ES ever asks you for a username/password for anything you should assume that in addition to being used for your purpose they are being used by someone else for their purposes.

If you are willing to share everything on your phone and everything on your desktop with a total stranger then by all means ignore this issue.

I don't have an app to recommend to you. If it was me I would connect by USB cable ... under control of the desktop copy the video to a work area on the phone ... disconnect the phone ... view the video.
