Ok so i am currently not under contract but I have a blackberry with verizons $30 a month unlimited data. I am due for an upgrade and I want the Droid 3 (rumored to come out 7/7). Will i be grandfathered in because I currently have the $30 unlimited plan or do i need to be under contract?

So would I need to go upgrade to a phone I dont really care for before the 7th? Any input would be appreciated THANKS

You're all set, you will be grandfathered in to future 3G and 4G phones and data plans - (unlimited)
