For the life of me I can't get my Samsung Galaxy S to connect to my PC. I have Vista, what do I need installed on my comp for it to connect?

When I click 'Mount', I get Driver Device not recognized. I'm not that computer savy, but not completely helpless (although close). I've tried all 4 USB ports on my comp and same thing.

Okay, I installed the Drivers that Kies had.

Now 1 of the 4 USB ports my comp has works (although I get a warning saying that I should use a faster USB that I have but it doesn't work in any of the other 3). I can see it trying to connect to Kies it keeps coming and going away and then nothing. I also have DoubleTwist and nothing shows up.

Ugh so lost.

DoubleTwist shows I'm connected on the phone, but it doesn't show anything on the PC.

Have you installed kies? If not download it HERE. Ignore everything else on that page, just download and run it. Too slow again

Can you connect in mass storage mode now?

Forget about mass storage mode or KIEs. If you are just trying to transfer files between your PC and your phone, activate debug mode in settings -> Applications -> development. After plugging your phone in, drag down the notification menu and press on the one that says click here to transfer files.
