how do i turn the voice off telling me when iv got a txt or email

Could be a couple of things. Check and try these:

Turn off Talkback.

Settings > Accessability > Talkback

Turn off Driving Mode

Settings > Language and input> Text-to-Speech Input > Driving Mode off.

oh thanks for that it was because talkback was on ..done my head in trying to stop it ..done now thanks agen
