Help...problem transferring from old micro sd card to new one

Hello,

I have a 8gb micro sd card for my evo 3d, bought a new sandisc 32gb card and was trying to transfer to the new card. Copied the 8gb card to an empty file on the computer, then transferred that back to the 32gb card. Problem is that when the new card is in the phone, none of the ringtones show up and my music says "insert sd card"???? The internal memory is now showing 29.1 gb total and available of 24.1 gb. What might be wrong?

Did you make sure to format the 32 SD card in the phone before copying over the files from your computer?
