Not even a week after purchasing this phone, I was out of my house and there was no means of charging my phone as the bank had drained too, my phone's battery completely drained and now when I tried to charge it, it always stays in one black screen with a charging bolt icon in the middle of the screen.
I tried going into recovery mode but it doesn't work the only thing closest to working was fastboot as it showed up for 2 secs and then was gone and I was stuck at the same charging bolt icon screen again. It's been 1 hour since I put my phone on charge and nothing is happening, it's not even showing my battery level just stuck at the bolt sign

Leave it a bit longer. If a phone really runs down then as a protective measure the charging will start with a very slow trickle until it reaches some minimum level, after which normal charging will resume.

If it isn't charging after a few more hours then get it replaced under warranty, since it's only a week old.

Recovery and fastboot modes wouldn't help you any way.

The thing is, it won't automatically start doing anything after I plug in the charger. I have to turn on by holding the power button just to see the bolt icon again, is it normal?
(PS: This is my main account I just posted the question in hurry as a guest)

No, if it's that discharged I wouldn't expect it to do anything.

The charger is just that, a charger. It doesn't power the phone, it charges the battery. The phone always runs off the battery even when the charger is connected. So if the battery is deeply discharged the phone can't run, and as I said in this state the phone will only attempt to slowly trickle charge the battery in order to protect it.

Give it time and then see. Don't bother trying to use it, you'll just drain any energy it has managed to store.
