i have a unbranded tablet and its rooted i removed google services and play store from it and tried to install from apk's but i always get errors doing so, how can i know what version i can use?
everything worked ok for a bit , then after a reboot got "there was a problem communicating with Google servers. Try again later" and stuck here now
seems that the google services went gone, weird
ok succefully installed both store and services as system apps cleared cache/data of both re-added my google account cleared cache/data of google framework also rebooted seems its working fine will update after a few uses see if all goes bad again or not, ty
Open play store, open menu and scroll toward bottom. Open settings, scroll to bottom and tap Build version. It will let you know if you have the current version or it will ask to update.
ok, quick update, i can make it all work out but when i power off the tablet google services disappears, i even installed as a system app with link2sd..
I've used Titanium Backup to convert to system app before. I think it's a option in paid version. Never used Link2sd. Is it actually uninstalled or just missing from app list?
