Root (HELP) ROM Manager on HTC Magic?

I have the same phone...and the same problem: ROM Manager can't be installed on this phone. Furthermore, I could not find the app on Market (only the Premium license) and had to search for it on the web. Please help! What do I do? Laurie

I know that the issues about HTC Magic is old. I am not exactly savvy individual. Same issue and somebody help?
