Help!!! Samsung Galaxy Precedent download problems!

I rooted my Precedent with the megaupload Odin, seemed to be working fine functionally, but now I'm trying to download a live wallpaper and customizable clock app and the download never stops! The page at android market says I have installed the wallpaper but it isn't in my phone anywhere. Also, my phone said I had new updates available for the superuser, google books, and gmail, and those won't stop either! What did I do, or how can I fix it?!

Try going to settings-applicatons-all, and click the Market, then hit Clear Data and Clear cache. Then reboot the phone. This will force the Market to update itself and it should clear any problems you are having.

Thank you! I tried that but now it won't start downloading at all. Any idea how to check my firewall settings on WiFi?

Also, just got a notification that updates are available, it shows me that gmail, google books, the wallpaper I'm downloading, and superuser, are all downloading at the same time...it's taking forever!

**ok, I created a new gmail acct, logged in to Talk on the phone, now at least one of the downloads is working! We'll see, fingers crossed!!

OK, this is what I have done to mine.
Go into applications
manage applications
running apps
"GOOGLE FRAMEWORK"
Clear cache
Force stop
Any Google app running
Clear cache
Power off
Pull the BATT, just to make sure you coldboot
reboot
and re-enter your Google account info

This is what I did, everything worked just fine.

The:
Google Authorization error
Multiple update downloads, disappeared. each update took care of itseilf

I have no issues with the market

One thing I did notice that helped, was the Superuser update, did help with any issues I had.

I love my new Precedent Android. I haven;t had any issues with the download/ install of what apps I have put on this thing.
