I have a rooted S5 running Lollipop. Followed the instructions here to upgrade to Marshmallow and keep root, but I can't get past the splash screen with the Samsung logo.
Here's the rundown: I flashed the deodexed and debloated 6.0.1 ROM with FlashFire and set reboot mode to download. It flashed but didn't boot into download mode, it just froze at the boot logo. I waited 30 min until pulling out the battery.
Then, I installed the PF4 bootloader file via Odin3. It installed but again, never booted up properly and stuck at the boot logo. So, I again waited 30 min until pulling out the battery.
I went into recovery mode and it said I was on version 6.0.1. I tried installing the tar.md5 bootloader file a few more times but to no avail.
I don't know what to do, any help please?
