help, strange bird with envelope above my sent texts

I don't know why but there is a strange little icon above every text message I send. It's a little bird holding an envelope and its pink in color and it has a pink border around the text box. I haven't installed any app recently so I don't understand where this comes from. It just appeared at random a few days ago....Does anyone know about this??
 
What message app are you using?

Lots of pink appearing around Valentine's day makes me wonder whether some SMS app developer is trying to be cute. But maybe I'm just getting paranoid ;)
 
I'm not using any app...it's the standard text messaging from the android OS...and actually it appeared a week or two ago (correction to my original post) so I don't think it has to do with valetines at all :/ it's very annoying, LOL
 
Thats what I get when I try to google this issue...but I never played nor downloaded any such game...my games are all fighting or fantasy

What phone do you have? Unless you have a Nexus or running AOSP, the standard text messaging app could be any app.
 
samsung S3 and its always been the standard google OS which runs it...and none of my friends who have the same phone have had this happen so I'm really confused...

Obviously something is causing it to happen but I'm 100% sure I did not install any app before it occured, the apps I have I've had for more than 6 months and this just started a few weeks ago

Then I'm guessing you're using Samsung's messaging app. Stock/standard Android messaging is rather boring. So this probably isn't an "Android" problem. If you could post a screen shot, that would help. I would also check the app's settings and make sure you didn't inadvertently change something.
