HELP: stuck in Smart Switch mode

Need serious help. My Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is soft brick I think.
I was able to go into recovery and download mode (VOL DOWN + POWER + HOME keys).
Now it's currently stuck in Smart Switch mode.
I cannot take out the battery so the phone cannot be switched off that easily.
Does anyone know how to get out of Smart Switch mode?

Just to clarify to get into Recovery Mode you simultaneously hold down the Volume Up, the Home, and the Power buttons. For Download Mode it is as you stated, simultaneously holding down the Volume Down, the Home, and the Power buttons.
(... and side note. If you're in Recovery Mode there will be an option to reboot from there.)

Easier than that, simply hold the power button down for 15 or 20 seconds. That's a simulated battery pull.

Solved it.
Apparently need to connect the phone to USB/PC - then can use the VOL DOWN + POWER + HOME and it works, can get into the recovery menu and select Download mode.
