Help switching to Verizon

I have three phones on a family plan with Sprint. One of those phones is currently eligible for renewal and upgrade.

The phone eligible is my wife's phone. I'm wanting to use that phone to leave Sprint and open a Verizon account. However, she needs to keep her number and I wanted to take my number over to Verizon.

My wife and son will stay on the Sprint account until their two years are up next year.

So how do I move things around to make this happen?

At least on Verizon, the phone number is tied to the contract, and porting the number out cancels the line. Here's how I'm understanding your situation:

Line 1 - Wife's # - Out of contract
Line 2 - Your # - In-contract
Line 3 - Son's # - In-contact

Unless Sprint's policy is different from Verizon's, you can either port your Wife's # for free -or- port your number and pay the ETF, you cannot move them around.

From the Verizon end, what you're asking is very simple. When you're ready, just submit a port request and the line will be cancelled on Sprint automatically once the port is complete - you will need to pay any final charges with your next bill, and may need to call Sprint to adjust your plan. When you're ready to port the other two numbers, just submit the port requests through Verizon and you'll be able to choose a Share Everything plan when the ports complete.
