Help Help, trouble mounting card

so im trying to put music onto my nexus, and i cant figure out how to get the "mount" option. I dragged down my notifications bar and there are two options "USB debugging connected" and "TURN OFF USB storage". I just plugged my phone into my computer. What am I doing wrong?

(sorry for being useless with this new phone)

Welcome to the forums!

It sounds like your computer does not have the drivers installed for your Nexus (by the way, you don't say which Nexus: the One or the S, let me know if we need to move your thread again).

Do a search on your computer for the drivers for your device and then install them and you should be good to go as long as you have USB debugging enabled.

Actually, to me, it sounds like you are just fine. Those are exactly what you should expect to see. It says "Turn off USB" because you are, in fact, already mounted. Open th file manager on your computer and you should see the memory card in the Nexus appear as an externl drive.
