Hi, Having big problems.
Can't connect my S3 to my pc.
First, because I'm with Orange uk, under the settings option, they have disabled the OTA button for updating the software because it apparently interferes with the Orange Swappables.
Secondly I've installed Kies and reinstalled the program several times and I'm still getting the same error : when I connect my phone with the USB cable I get an "Missing Hardware ID please contact the manufacturers" error message.
The WiFi option doesn't work either.
The only way that I found to get around it is to open the Device Manager, uninstall the the Samsung USB driver, then when I plug my S3 into the USB it connects....but if I unplug it again, then put it back, I get the same message about ID missing and I have to go through it all again.
Been tinkering for a couple of hours now and cheesed off !
