Root Help! Urgent!! :(

Okay, so I rooted my phone a while ago. It worked perfectly fine and I mean I did the reboot and when I opened the phone again, it was okay. Then I started transferring files from the phone memory to my sd card. *which is practically why I wanted to root*

Then when I accidentally deleted the Facebook App, I decided to download it again but when I did, it never got past to the INSTALLING part. Then I thought of restarting it, which I did. When I turned the phone on, however... all applications in the SD card are missing.

I checked my sd card storage and it still shows 5gb, then I looked at my vids, mp3s in their folders and they are still there... but when I looked at the Applications on SD Card, all I see are black boxes.

What do I do??? Is it because I rooted my phone??? Help please!! :((

never had this problem, but i know how you can avoid it to ever happen again: get a backup app like titanium, do a complete backup and have it do scheduled backups, so in case you loose your apps again you can just restore ;)

you cant install anything? mmmmm sounds a like a wipe and restart is needed, seems you may have moved the wrong file or deleted a directory, im not sure i couldnt tell you for certain. if you do a f-reset try using the adb command to allow storage location, you can just set sdcard then and all applications installed from then on will automatically go onto the sd. plus some apps that couldnt be moved to sd now can,. some apps still keep a certain amount of space from phone int' memory (live/background) services such as 3g watchdog, battery solo widget etc,
