Help Help! Vertical lines on screen only on certain apps.

If I'm making a call, in messages, or browsing facebook, etc. the screen is fine. No dead pixels or anything like that. When I go into my camera, or if I'm on youtube, all hell breaks loose on the screen. Green,black, pink, and white vertical lines start moving around. They don't stay still and it's only on certain apps. As far as I know the phone has never been rooted or anything like that, but I bought it off craigslist so who knows. What kind of issue could this be? I tried clearing cache, reboots, factory/hard reset. And same thing over and over. Maybe a problem with the screens ribbon? Please help. Thanks.
