Help with A contacts please

Hi all reading this.

I upgraded my HTC Hero to a HTC Desire today and am having a problem with A contacts.

On the Hero I have shortcuts on my home page to the different search categories. I have a button for a to z, Organization and group so that I can go were I need to be with one touch.

The problem I am having is that I cant remember how I did it.
on both the Hero and the Desire the only shortcut option is to the main interface of A contacts.

Can anyone advise me how to put the icons for the sub groups back on to my home page ?

Hairy weasel, I have the same problem. i am new to Android and I am using the default Htc desire contacr app, "People". i have created subgroups within People but cannot seem to be able to Shortcut them to my homescreen. help on this will be great.

Have you tried "Any Cut" software to place contact shortcuts on the home page?
