Help with Handcent

When I try sending a text to an email via handcent, it doesn't show to text...My mom sends me texts via email when shes at work and I'm not able to respond unless I use the native android text app.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem, or is this just not possible with handcent?

Make sure sure your mom specifies a reply-to phone number when she sends you the messages.

I just tried it from my email to my phone, then replied to the message using both Handcent and the stock messenger, both worked. However both of them went into my junk mail. Maybe have Mom check her junk/filtered mail?
Depending upon her service, some email servers trap junk mail up in the 'cloud'. So if she has on online option she might want to check there too.

I don't think it goes to the spam folder cause she still gets the text she just says its blank, because when I send the text she messages me back saying she can't she it so shes getting the text just not the body of it I guess.

Its also her work e-mail so I don't know if they have some kind of filter, guess I just have to look at it next time I go down into town

Try with a non-work email address. As you said, work emails can be set up not to show some content or not to let through some stuff.
