Help help with m8 android box

Hi there. So my mom has an m8 android box. I've recently created a netflix account on my phone but can't sign into it on the box. Netflix comes up with code 13000 when you try to open the app. I uninstalled the Netflix app hoping to reinstall it again for an updated version, but when going into the playstore it says my mother's email account needs to be signed in (which it is). Soooooo I have also tried to add my Google account to the box in hopes I would be able to get into the playstore under my account to redownload the Netflix app but no dice..it won't let me add my account to the box. And as a last resort I've also tried making a new account on the box but again no dice. It get stuck on the "signing in this may take a few minites". I am seriously at a loss as to what I can do and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like it might be incompatible with unbranded cheapo Android box, unknown manufacturer. Was probably never tested, no Netflix in China. Is it one of those "fully loaded" devices, with Kodi, etc.? Not a lot can do about it, other than returning it for refund.
