Hi everyone,
we're planning to develop an app for our company, which would allow our employees to communicate between each other. We are thinking of:
1) a simple registration system, where the employee would enter some basic info about them and upload a photo
2) a list of registered employees that are online and the distance from the phone where they're located (gps or network geolocation)
3) a possibility of filtering them by projects.
4) chat option with saved history
5) this platform would have to be on Android and iOS.
I have no idea how much data is sent via geolocator so if its a lot then the location update could be every few minutes.
Since I'm a newbie in this area, I was wondering what would be the best way to go about it? I heard about HTML5 and AIR3 platforms, but was wondering are there any other options.. preferably the cheapest one
