Help with movieflix

can anyone give any insight what the issue is?

Trying to get movieflix so I went to:

- system/file manager/add source
- in none field entered: http://muckys.mediaportal4kodi.ml/
- went back out to system/settings/addons/install from zip
- selected new mucky folder I created and it’s always empty?

Someone suggested updating Kodi but from what I see mine automatically updates and when I go into addons from system/settings there is no update option as shown online?

Help anyone?

I would surmise that MovieFlix is some sort of service that allows you to watch pay-per-view movies for free?
If so, that is something we cannot provide help with, sorry.

That URL seems to be expired, it just goes to some domain parking site. So I guess they're no longer in business, and there's nothing can be done about the issue, except going to Netflix or something instead.

While I will not recommend Netflix, I will add that the only free cheese is in the mousetrap. Studios put in a lot of time and expense to produce a movie -- the cast and crew need paid, and the studio spends a lot on soundstage work, set design, etc.

Then a website comes along, steals that movie and lets people watch it for free... how fair is that? How much in earned revenue is the studio losing from all those potential rentals that they aren't getting? Not only is piracy/bootlegging illegal, it's flat-out wrong.

As a creator, it is fitting to be compensated for my time and effort with royalties: how would you feel if, as a creator, you learned that your revenue is down because everyone already has your work... they snagged it for free off the internet? Not much incentive to keep doing it, huh?
