Help Help with music tagging?

CrimsonToker

I installed Music Tagger, made by an XDA member, to start organizing my music collection, and upon launch, it says I need to move music files to internal storage to rewrite them. Is this true? Say it isn't so! I have 16 gigs of music on my SD card and growing every day. I only have 4 gigs internal. And no computer access. So am I left without a way to alter id3 tags on this phone?

I DO happen to have a GB phone, maybe I could install music tagger on that and put the SD card in that phone? Any help is appreciated!

Sounds like a problem of the app, in that it can only deal with internal storage, and not SD. Is your phone running KitKat 4.4 or later? If so, could be Music Tagger hasn't been updated for the changes in how SD storage is handled.

Only thing can do is email the app's makers, tell them what's happening, what you've got, make, model and Android version, and see what they have to say about it. It might need to be updated.

I do have 4.4, but didn't it change so that files on SD card cannot be rewritten? That was my belief, and then this app says the same. Maybe I'm just totally misunderstanding how kit Kat treats SD cards...
