Help Help with new Android System (Novice)

Hi there, Im new to forums and a novice with phones

I recently updated the phone as it popped up about 6 times forcing me to update, however since ive updated the phone it is terrible and making my experience awful, battery lasts about 6-7 hours from full with everything off background data 3g etc etc, the phone is just sooo slow, the gallery is shocking takes upto 10mins to load photos etc

was just wondering is ther anyway to go back to the operating system before, i tried factory restore but it just deleted all my apps, please help

Wow. What did it update you to? I'm running the same phone (MyTouch 3G is T-Mobile's "Magic") with 2.2 and having no problems at all, unless I'm trying to surf the web while listening to Pandora or something.

Was gonna ask if maybe you had a bad app or something, but you said the factory restore deleted all the apps...

Sorry, wish I knew what to tell you. Hopefully someone has some ideas. :/
