Help with NextBook NEXT7P12-8G Brick?

I was recently gifted a NextBook Next7P12-8G because it was stuck in a bootloop. I did what anyone would do and googled a solution and found a rooted copy of the firmware as finding a stock rom was difficult.
I followed this tutorial to the T,
http://www.guruht.com/2015/04/how-to-flash-nextbook-next7p12-install.html
After trying the first recovery the lag from the touch was so bad i could not slide to make it initiate the install. So i ended up using the 4g version, i think this is where my problem was. Thinking back its seem as though the 4g version is still only for 4g models.. There was not a clear indication as to what i was supposed to do when the 8g version lagged to the point i could not use it. So is the tablet trash or is there a brick kit for it or something i can do? Its not recognized by USB on my pc and when trying to enter recovery i get either a flash of "Updating, please wait.... " that then goes to a black screen and it shuts off. Or it freezes on "Updating, please wait.... ". : / Any help or comments is welcome and appreciated, thanks: )

More like a useless device.

Think you've already tried everything you can, so nobody here can suggest anything else, apart from you throwing it in the trash and replacing it.

Nextbook is cheapo anyway, and are ultimately disposable when they crap out, usually due to poor manufacturing quality.

So yes, lost cause.
