Help with pictures in gallery

What did I do???? I have a bunch of pictures I took at the San Francisco Giants parade on my Samsung GalaxyS. Every thing was fine, but I wanted to move them to the sd card and download into the computer to share.
After the move they wouldn't play from sd card. So I moved them back to phone, and now they won't play there either........
The pictures show up in gallery but wont play when selected.
Can anyone please HELP me???????

I moved them back into the DCMI / 100ANDRO folder where I got them from. When I try to play them is says invalid file??????
