Hello all I am new here, specifically to make this post. I have been through bluestacks support and they seemingly cannot help me. Now to the issue.
I have bluestacks specifically to play one game: Dawn of the Dragons (DotD by 5PG). When I "tap" the icon bluestacks attempts to switch from landscape mode to portrait before crashing back to my home screen in landscape mode.
If I change the screen rotation settings in systray the game just will not initialize at all. By that I mean I "tap" the icon and nothing at all happens.
If I go into "bluestacks settings" and change the "change app size" settings the same thing happens.
I have a very strong suspicion that there is an issue with my native PCs display/resolution settings but am finding little to no information about such issues on Google.
To be clear I can play any app that is either natively landscape mode or can be forced into it. Only apps that are designed to run in portrait mode will not work.
If it helps this problem replicated on both the last and the current version of bluestacks. I'm ot sure my version number off the top of my head but I literally just reinstalled bluestacks from a link support gave me today so it should be the most recent version.
I will check this thread often, any and all help is appreciated.
