HELP with status bar CLOCk Please!!!

Can anybody help me with my status bar clock? I have tried a number of ways but cant seem to get it. I have a lg optimus U US670, rooted running stock android 2.2.2 rom build FRG83G. I want to change the clock from black to white or a bluish color so i can theme the rest with UOT kitchen. Im getting more and more familiar with the os and file sys, but everything i have tried does not seem to work
 
well do u think u might be able to help since u have a optimus M. i cant ever find a class.dex or something i have a backup of framework-res.apk , it really sucks i just want my clock white for the black background.
