Help Help with text app!

Hi,

I might be missing something very simple here, but any help would be appreciated.

When messaging on my X10 using the standard text app, the text I have written does not delete from the input box once I have sent the message. This means whenever I send a new message to the same person I have to delete everything I wrote last time before I can do so. It also pops up on the list of messages recieved from everyone as 'draft' as if I haven't sent it.

Has anyone else had this issue, or am I missing something ridiculously simple?

I dont use the stock messaging, get Handcent. Much better!

Tried handcent, not a huge fan. I think I'm one of the few who likes the stock app, apart from the flaw that's tripping me up at the moment. Anyone got any ideas?

Sounds a bit like a software glitch to me. You could try running a software repair via either Sony Ericsson Update Service or PC Companion Support tab. This will wipe your phone so make sure you have backed up your contacts and app list etc.
