Help with Twitter

After having problems with my notifications not coming through on my Android, even after having google installed, on a non-rooted android, Twitter asked me to contact you to get my problem solved. I am not getting any notifications when I have new mentions/messages or anything, I have to get on twitter just to see my new stuff and before they always came through with the little bird at the top and now it's not doing anything. Please help, this has been going on for over a week Thank you!

OT: Im not sure...my basic twitter app did this like the other week and i just uninstalled it and deleted the data and restarted my phone and then installed it and now its working like a charm now

Have you tried uninstall/reinstall the app? Also clearing data on the application work just as well.
