Help Help with Virgin Tv Anywhere Android App

I am trying to get virgin tv anywhere app to work on android.
But so far no luck.
Can you tell me what the x mark is for at top right hand corner of the tv guide?
When i click on it it just tells me to connect with wire my tivo box and virgin router
Why is that? What does it do i thought everything was wireless now?

The app does a couple of things...
1 it allows your android device to act as a remote control for your TiVo
2 it allows you to manage your recordings on your TiVo box and schedule recordings wherever you are.
3 it allows up to 2 android devices to to stream certain channels and view them wherever you are.

For 1 to work you need to have the network socket on your TiVo plugged in to your home network. The easiest way is with a bit of network cable. It wasn't convenient for me so I use a network adaptor that plugs into the network socket and the connects wirelessly to the WiFi network.

The icon in the top right is to toggle the remote control

So I will have to connect the Virgin superhub to the TiVo box then?
