So i have a Galsxy tab4.. I jail broke it and got kingroot.. I noticed my play store wasnt working and stuff so i went to factory reset and everything got worse.. After factory reset it would get stuck on connecting to wifi.. So i ended up turning off wifi to see will i surpass it.. But now it just stays stuck on the "just a sec" screen.. Does anyone know how i can fix it?

Hi @Daan192 , welcome to Android forums. First off, you "jailbreak" Apple devices. With android it's called rooting. Once you rooted your Tab4, any changed made to the system become permanent and survive a factory reset. What you will probably have to do now is flash the factory firmware to restore it to it's un-rooted condition. What's the exact model number so we can track down the correct way to do that.

I have no clue how to check the model type

I think its the sm-t330

Normally you'd simply look in "About Phone" in settings but if it's not booting for you then you may be able to see it on the first boot screen. I think most Samsung devices display the model number briefly when it starts up. Press and hold the power key until it shuts off, then start it up again and pay close attention to the first screen.

Yea its the sm-t330

That seems to be an international version of the Tab 4 so you have a lot of options when it comes to country and language. You can get the latest factory firmware here: https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-tab4/SM-T330/

The tutorial on how to do it is here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-4/general/guide-how-to-restore-stock-firmware-t2979006

That's a pretty basic explanation but it should be good enough. Take a read through and let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Sure thank you so much.. Lets pray it works

Oh, it works if you do it correctly. ;) The nice part is it's pretty hard to truly brick an android device these days, so if at first you don't succeed ...

Not important, really, but you should know that as soon as you root a device you may lose access to some services that require security. While I've never heard of the play store refusing to connect simply because a phone is rooted, it could be that an update screwed something else up. If you never used it in the past, then I'd advise you to stay away from it in the future.

What do u mean.. I did kingroot a while ago for game hack but never really used it

Do you/is their a custom recovery for youre device? Cuz now that youre rooted you can break things and youre gonna want a way to rectify anything that could go wrong due to the power root affords.
