Ok so i downloaded the handset text messaging on to my phone, but now when i get a tx message i actually get two.. one for the handset i downloaded and one for the pre-install that came withthe phone..how can i delete the pre install or at lease deactivate it.. thanks

Go to messaging (the stock one, not handcent). Hit menu, then settings. Uncheck the "Notifications" option.
