Hey guys,

I think i just messed up my Rogers HTC Dream:(. I run aHome as the home program. Today, when I turned on my phone, it asked me what app i wanted to use to complete the action ( Home, aHome and another app that I downloaded but is meant to place calls with your voice or something. ) I checked the always use as default box and went to select aHome, but as i was clicking it, i accidently hit the other app that isn't a home program. Then i just kept getting the force close message, so i clicked that a couple of time, decided it wasn't going to fix itself and turned off the phone. When I turn on the phone, it freezes at the HTC screen and will not go any further . I have tried taking out the battery and restarting it, but same problem:confused:. Anyone know how i can fix this? even if there is a way to reset the phone, it would be better then not being able to use it at all. Thanks in advance!

Below is a hard reset so you will loose all your stuff on the phones memory:

With the phone off, hold the "home" (house) and "back" (the arrow in the lower right corner)

Hit briefly the "end call" button" while still holding the "home" and "back" buttons.

Release the "home" and "back" button, a white screen containing technical information should appear, with a red message asking for hitting the "menu" button.

Hit the "menu button", the phone will now boot with factory settings.
