I recently purchased a galaxy tab 10.1 I have been trying to import photos from my camera, they transfer to tablet but I dont know how to make them stay on tablet. can any one help

From what camera? And what do you.mean make them stay in the tablet? Once they have been transferred they stay there. How are you transferring them anyway?

It's possible the Gallery app just scans the images an makes thumbnails an meta-data and updates it's database without moving the images. I could see that confusing people into thinking they had been transferred.

@OP, as chanchan05 said, how are you going about the transfer?

Best bet would be to use a file manager like OI File Manager or Astro, and copy the folder they are in to your main Photos directory under "sdcard"

If you are connecting the camera directly they show up in the gallery but you have to import them. You can either do all in one go or if you go into the folder and long press on a picture you can import one at a time.
