If you mean the pre-installed bloatware that came with your phone (which I assume is a carrier branded phone), then usually the only way to remove them is by rooting the phone (similar to jailbreaking on the iphone).
If you go down this route, it is worth bearing in mind that doing so voids your warrantee.
