Help??

i am new to this whole android thing. I am getting a hero from sprint next sunday and was looking into to it. I have some questions. what is Sprint Hero (CDMA). Is that the phone i am getting next sunday?? Also for right now i just want to be able to put apps on my external memory card. Do i have to root it to put apps on my external memory card?? also is it hard to use the Pre-Kitchen 0.2.?? Does anyone have a video on how to use it??

There are two versions of the Hero, CDMA and GSM. The CDMA is what you will be getting from Sprint.

As far as the app sd card thing goes, i would check out the root forum for the phone.
