Apps Helper for android tools? (ubuntu)

Now that I've been messing around with the SDK for awhile, I've written a few little tools for Ubuntu to speed up the process of using the Android tools included with the SDK.

How many of you would be interested in a helper application to speed up semi-common tasks with the android tools?

What I mean by semi-common tasks are things like creating, mounting, and loading SD cards, building / signing .apk files, installing applications into the emulator, etc.

Obviously, these won't be for everyone, I'm just trying to gauge the level of interest for tools like this.

I would love to have something like this for Ubuntu! However, my current Ubuntu (based) machine is an old PPC iMac G3 running Xubuntu, so I hope it will be compilable for the PPC architecture...
