Here's a very interesting read...

The big problem I see with some Android users is that they cannot stand the fact that a newer version of Android exists that they cannot get on their phone. Even if they are so happy with their existing phone and if it runs the latest version of Android, they act like their phone is a piece of crap the day after a new version of Android is released. They bitch and complain that they won't see the latest version of Android even though the very day before they are on top of the world with their phone. I just don't understand these people

I was using an HTC Desire Z. It was on Froyo and updated to GB last summer. Even though ICS and JB was release and I knew I will not be seeing these versions on my phone, I was perfectly happy with it. If it weren't for a bad battery which forced me to upgrade, I would have kept it until next spring.

Right now I have a Galaxy S3 running ICS. I will be greatful once JB arrives. I am very happy with it running ICS as is and am in no hurry to get JB. The existence of JB and the release of KLP will in no way diminish how much I like my SGS3 regardless of whether or not it is running the latest OS.

You get the new OS, and some of your favorite apps haven't caught up yet or have a strange bug. That's been the rule since upgrades started on any OS.
