What's the full name of your phone? Is it the LG Zone 3? Have you downloaded the Forums for Android app so that you can post in the LG Zone 3 Forum (or whatever device you have)?
I'm not sure how active the community is for rooting that phone, but if there is one, you're best off asking in that forum.
