Figured I'd introduce myself. I'm just now getting into the whole rooting thing. I've recently switched from Verizon to Virgin Mobile for a better deal and I think a good learning experience would be to root my old phone to get the method down and then root the new one. Seems like a good community here! I can dig it.
I was way big into the psp hacking thing when it was around a few years ago so this seems a little familiar, at least the custom firmware idea. You could squeeze some serious battery life if you underclocked those suckers!
