Hi All, i have been an Android user for the past 3 years and love them, I have recently decided to take the plunge and Root my HTC Desire as its getting a little old and could do with some maintainence to strip the phone of useless apps that Orange decided would be a great idea to install.

Decided to try this on the phone as I am in the process of thinking about purchasing a Nexus later this year so just learning about it all now.

Thanks for all the helpful posts I am sure I will have many more questions that you can all help me with.

I have already posted a help message asi am having great issues with Rooting, got as far as I can and now stuck.
