I am currently a full-time LAMP developer with many years of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML and CSS programming experience. I used to be a pretty good vBulletin plugin developer in the past, but moved on from that to other things.
Earlier this year, I purchased my first android smartphone, which was a Samsung Galaxy S3. I am now looking to join the android developer community, and I am very excited about it because android is a great platform and I already have two years of Java programming experience.
I have not done any android development yet, but it should be very entertaining to begin doing so. I am going to look at some tutorials tomorrow and next weekend, and then I'm sure there must be an app request section here, where I can write cool apps and gain experience.
If anyone could point me in the right direction or give tips about how enter this development community on a professional level, please feel free to share, and I'll appreciate that a lot. Also, if anyone is working on any simple or medium complexity level projects and would like me to try to assist, please let me know as well.
