I stumbled on this forum after doing a search on how to use tethering on my newly purchased Virgin Mobile LG Optimus F3, I bought that phone the day after Christmas after my HTC Evo V 4g phone broke on Christmas day- that one had the wifi hotspot enabled and I was paying the extra $ to use that feature so I got used to it. Anyway after following the instructions here on how to root my phone and install apps to tether. I am all set. Now I am going to explore the forum to see what else I can do with my rooted phone as I never rooted before.
